Co-Founder Ross Niskar was in search of a business that had an innovative product or service that could improve people’s lives. In early 2015, he came across an article on cryotherapy. It was intriguing to Ross because his brother lives with constant pain after a 1999 diving accident left him paralyzed. While this piqued his interest, he was more interested in this as a tool to help his brother. From that point, Ross started to hear more and more about professional athletes and celebrities using whole-body cryotherapy for recovery.
After hundreds of hours of research that included trips to California and Ohio, Ross decided that this was the business he wanted to pursue. Ross is excited to offer an alternative pain management solution that does not include drugs or an invasive procedure. In 1994 Ross Niskar founded Boulder Financial, the alternative lending division of Rock Financial. As Vice President of Operations, he was instrumental in growing this division to over 400 team members. This contributed to transforming Rock Financial into a publicly traded company in 1998. The company was sold to Intuit in 1999 and became Quicken Loans. In 2000, Ross launched Boulder Credit Services, a debt management company.
Ross earned a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University and holds a State of Michigan Residential Real Estate License and State of Michigan Collection Agency License. According to Ross, his daughter Isabella is his greatest accomplishment.
